1. What is the Cavi-sliming function used for?

The Cavi-slimming function has ultrasound cavitation technology of 40khz, and it is use for the reduction and treatment of localized fat and cellulite It is recommended to use only in specific areas of the body.

2. How does Ultrasound Cavitation Non-Surgical “Liposuction” work?

Ultrasound waves produced by the headpiece cause thousands of microscopic air bubbles to surround the lipocyte (fat cell) membranes and with vibration, these bubbles create enough pressure to cause the fat cells to break up instantly. The contents of the broken lipocytes are then moved through the lymphatic system to the liver and are safely metabolized and excreted from the body, assisted by drinking plenty of water both the day of treatment and on subsequent days. Results can be noticed after the first treatment with more significant improvement noticed within a few days. This treatment must be performed by a professional to following a safe protocols and discarding any contraindications...

3. How many treatments of cavitation are required ?

It depends on the thickness or accumulation of fat in the treated area . For small areas six sessions would be enough to see results. It is always advisable to sell packages of 6-10 treatment sessions per area .

4. What areas of the body can be treated?

Cavidermis “ Ultra-contouring” and “Cavisliming” function are used for the reduction of localized fat and cellulite. Areas of Applications: It is used in patients whose folds of adipose tissue exceed 3 cm. Especially in cases of cellulite and localized fat, on the abdomen, waist, legs, and inner thighs. Applying CAVITATION is recommended in all areas where there is excess fat, excluding the face, neck and female breasts.

•Buttocks
•Legs
•Ankles
•Arms (upper arms)
•Abdomen / waist (love handles)

5. How Cavidermis “Cavi-sliming function” work?

The function Cavi-sliming of the Cavidermis System posse the technology 40Khz ultrasound, lower frequency ultrasound with a powerful but safe energy output. These waves are directed toward the fat cell, to brake and dissolves them. Inmediately after the lymphatic and excretory system will remove them from the body. This way we can shape the body by removing the excess of fat without surgery or injection.

In order to perform Cavi-sliming, we recommend to follow a working protocol. A professional consultation is needed to determine if the person qualify for this kind of treatment, if the person does not have any contraindication. Then the professional must evaluate the area to be treated and prepare a treatment plan.

This treatment is complemented by using "RF -Vacuum " function to perform contouring, tissues tightening and lymphatic drainage.

6. Are there any contraindications for cavitation (Cavi-sliming o Ultra-contouring functions) treatment?

Although our cavitation treatment is a noninvasive technique, there are some contraindications as any aesthetic treatment. For that reason is important to have a consultation first.

Contraindications:

•Cancer
•Cold or flu symptoms or fever
•Swollen lymph nodes
•Edema
•Active Infections & Immunosuppression
•Liver, Kidney, or Heart Disease
•Severe hypertension > 200/100, hyperlipidaemia, diabetes mellitus
•Pregnancy
•Breastfeeding
•Lymph nodes and joints cannot be treated with cavitation.
•The face and neck cannot be treated with cavitation however RF can be.
•Menstruation: During a period, the abdomen cannot be treated however other areas can be.
•Metallic Implants: People who have metal implanted anywhere in their bodies, such as bone pins or pace makers cannot receive a treatment.
•Skin allergies or inflammation: Areas with obvious signs of inflammation cannot be treated.
•Minors: Due to the changing hormonal and fat deposits in the growing body during puberty, we do not treat clients under 18 years of age with Ultrasound Cavitation or •Radio Frequency.

In general it should not apply to : people with a condition in the treatment area , a pacemaker and heart disease, pregnant or suspected to be, people who are doing some kind of drug treatment , juvenile growth stage implants in the area, among others.

But whenever there is doubt ask your client to attend his trusted doctor and get a written authorization.

You will receive a training manual with all guidelines and known contraindications to use this Cavi-sliming o Ultra-contouring functions.

7. How does "Ultra-contouring" function work?

The function of Ultracontouring combines the technologic of sonic waves with red light photons. This treatment is indicated to aid: post-operative (edema and bruising), anti-cellulite, localized adiposity, mesotherapy and hidrolipoclasia

The ultrasonic waves allow:

•Permeate the skin for penetration of active ingredients
•Emulsify fat through continuous emission of acoustic waves.
The function of photon has a monochromatic red light that increases the activity of keratinocytes, thus stimulating the skin cell cycle. Among the benefits of the red led light on the skin:

•Stimulates and enhances cellular activity.
•Accelerates the penetration of the active ingredients in the dermal-epidermal layer.
•Increased production of collagen and elastin.
•Improves circulation.
•Recovers skin elasticity.
•Skin rejuvenation.
•Oxygenation of the stratum corneum.

8. When to choose between Cavislimming or Ultracontouring?

If you are going to treat a thick adipose tissue fold exceeding 3 cm of thick, use Cavi-sliming. If you are working more superficial adipose tissues or want to penetrate active ingredients use Ultra-contouring.

9. How long is a full treatment session?

Treatment times vary depending on the areas being treated and whether or not you are doing just Fat Cavitation, just Radio Frequency, or both. A typical session will last in between one hour to one and a half hours. This includes consultation time, body and weight measurements, before pictures, treatment and after pictures and measurements.

10. What type of results can I expect with Cavislimming or Ultracontouring?

Both treatments usually produce immediate results. Most clients experience between ¼” to 3” loss after a single session. However, more significant results will be noticed after the second and third treatment. Results continue to improve after subsequent visits and can be long lasting. But it is important that clients observe a healthy diet and exercise frequently to keep fat from returning.

11. Can I lose weight with Cavislimming or Ultracontouring?

Fat Cavitation is not a treatment for obesity nor is it a weight loss procedure. Rather it is a method for reshaping and toning the body. Particularly, it is intended to reduce localized fatty tissue resistant to exercise and diet. However the treatment plan include a healthy diet with exercises that aids on loosing weight.

12. How many sessions are required to achieve the desired result?

A minimum of 5to 10 treatments are recommended, but you should begin to see significant results from the third session onward.

13. There are any guidelines before or after undergoing Cavislimming or Ultracontouring?

We recommend a low calorie diet and to drink at least 1.0-1.5 liters of water before and after the session. After the session we recommend to do a small amount of cardio (brisk walk/jog). Drinking water and half an hour of cardio is a necessary part in order to eliminate the fat.

14. What are the side effects of ultrasonic cavitation body shaping ?

Immediately after the client can resume his normal activities. In some cases when treated upper body, client can experience a residual buzzing or ringing sound in their ears for up to 24 hours. Skin trauma is rare, however the area treated may retain warmth for a few hours afterwards. It is not uncommon for stool movements to be oily in the days that follow, or for urine to have an unusual smell as excess waste leaves the body. It is absolutely vital to keep water intake high during the days following treatment to help flush your system.

15. What happen when the client have lost weight and just need some lifting and tightening?

16. What are the differences between 2-RF , 3 -RF and 8 -RF vacuum function?

The Cavidermis System offers multiple functions allowing you to treat the face and the body.

This equipment has three Radiofrequency heads :
2- RF is bipolar radiofrequency for treating the the face.
3 -RF is tripolar radiofrequency for the body .
8 - vacuum is multipolar radiofrequency head with vacuum for specific areas of the body.

17. What is the Aesthetic Radiofrequency ?

Aesthetics RF is an electromagnetic waves having electric and magnetic properties. These electromagnetic waves produce a controllable heating of the dermis and subdermal layers, selectively acting on adipose tissue and fibroblasts , producing a shortening of the collagen fibers and the production of new collagen . RF generates an electric field that changes from positive to negative, this rotational movement of molecules generates heat on the tissues.

18. What are the contraindications for Cavidermis Radiofrequency Treatment?

You will receive a manual explaining the Cavidermis RF treatment. But overall radiofrequency is contraindicated in cases of pregnancy and lactation , severe heart disease, coagulation disorders , connective tissue diseases and neuromuscular , cancer, recent collagen implants , patients with metal implants , pacemakers or cardioverter, defibrillator or cases of severely overweight.

19. How many sessions of Cavidermis’ radiofrequency treatment are recommended?

The number of sessions is variable, depending of multiples factors such as the area to be treated, the condition and the treatment plan that has been designed for each client.

It is important to differentiate from other types of RF technologies. Our cavidermis RF treatment is not ablative, therefore treatment can be performed more frequently and there is not downtime. Client can come back to their daily routine immediately. However a minimum of 8 to 12 treatment are recommended, at least once a week.

20. How long does the Cavidermis’ radiofrequency treatment take ?

Yes, we offer training in our offices and by video conference . In addition we can send to you training videos.

22. Are these Cavidermis’ treatments safe?

Yes, they are safe, comfortable, and non-invasive with typically no side effects. The ultrasound energy is designed to target only fatty tissues beneath the skin, and does not affect the blood vessels, nerves and connective tissues. Radio frequency is a radiation that travels in waves lower than the frequency emitted from a microwave which heat fat cells allowing fat to leak out. Neither treatments require anesthesia, leaves scars, uses injections, nor are there pills to swallow or incisions.

23. Are the Cavidermis’ treatments painful?

No, the treatments are virtually painless. A slight tingling sensation may sometimes be felt during the treatment but this is not uncomfortable. You will experience a buzzing in the ear during Fat Cavitation, however this is temporary and stops immediately upon cessation of the treatment. Some heat sensation may also be felt during treatment especially during radio frequency but no pain should be felt. Any slight reddening of the skin which sometimes may occur quickly disappears.

24. Are there any side effects?

As mentioned, a warming sensation, slight redness of the skin may occur. This disappears soon after. In a very few cases, people with sensitive skin may experience small vesicles or blisters from Radio Frequency treatments. This is most likely caused by an inexperienced technician. For that reason close monitoring of the skin temperature and a fluid continuous motion of the RF handpiece will prevent this from occurring.
